FAQ's
You can find the complete instructions in this video:
Plant Food
Pour Nutri Ice™ directly onto the plants soil or grass. Follow the next FAQ's guidance for plant food instructions.
Recycle
Cut the pouch corner and pour the gel down a drain. Then rinse the pouch and recycle it like any other plastic bags.
Discard
Place the whole gel pack into the garbage.
Indoor flowerpots
We recommend application in the soil every two weeks:
- 3 oz. of Nutri Ice™ gel for small (less than 5″ diameter) flowerpots
- 10 oz. for medium (about 8″ diameter) flowerpots
- 20 oz. for large (more than 12″ diameter) flowerpots
Vegetable gardens
Though the NPK of Nutri Ice™ is a better fit for indoor flowerpots, it is possible to use it on vegetable gardens with the following dosage:
- Spread the content of half an 80 oz. Nutri Ice™ gel pack per sq.ft of garden soil every 3 weeks during the growing season.
For optimal results on vegetable gardens, specialized fertilizers such as “Miracle-Gro® Shake ‘N Feed Tomato, Fruit & Vegetable Plant Food” are a better fit.
If plants become over-fertilized, remove a thin top layer of soil and cover the remaining soil with distilled water, then allow it to drain. Repeat 4 times.
The content of our gel packs is nontoxic and should not be harmful if ingested in small quantities by your child or pet. However if you have any concerns, we recommend you contact your doctor, veterinarian or local poison control center (1-800-222-1222) immediately.
No. Gel packs you receive in shipments are specially formulated for commercial use, and stay cold too long for safe application to the body. Please talk to your doctor or practitioner about our line of physical therapy products, which are the best choice for both cold and hot therapeutic treatments at home.
